Forget the Jetski, Ride a Caterpillar
We have something in common with frogs, toads, and salamanders. It may not seem like it being a heavy machinery company, but people forget what we’re able to do with all of this earth moving equipment. Like our amphibious friends, we’re capable of surviving on both land and water. Didn’t see that coming did you?
We have an assortment of amphibious machines that are able to help you get the job done. If you’d like to check out our amphibious long reaches you can head on over to our inventory list. Still not convinced? We’re more than willing to help convince you.
Why amphibious machines?
Aside from them being safe and reliable machines? For starters, they have a working range of 360 degrees which makes digging and moving the earth that much easier. With an amphibious long reach, you don’t have to worry about getting the job done in time: You just do.
There is a difference we should point out, however. We carry amphibious, not underwater machines. Our machines are also commonly referred to as swamp excavators or floating excavators. They are used for shallow-water sites and tasks. Our machines are not intended to be fully submerged underwater. Now, if you decide to submerge it, that is a different story. If you do happen to take it for a swim, we’re in the business of repairing amphibious machines. Just try not to make a habit of it.
You can handle a slew of projects including but not limited to flood maintenance, waterway maintenance, building roads through wetland areas, and more. Sometimes water is unavoidable so why not push through it?
Need more encouragement? They were developed to operate in poor load-bearing areas. If you had all of the time in the world maybe you could wait out the water levels, but you don’t. You have deadlines to meet, quotas to fill, and people to please.
So what?
We didn’t start out as Houston’s leader in heavy and amphibious machinery. You could say we started from the ground up. Not to mention, a little water never hurt anyone. It only slowed them down. Don’t let the elements slow your project down to a halt. Contact us today to find out how we can help you get your job done.
If you’d like to speak with someone from Houston Heavy Machinery feel free to give us a call at (713) 864-4945 or shoot us an email ([email protected]). As always, we look forward to working with you.
