30 Machines Strong!
Congratulations to John Hammond for closing a massive deal with Bechtel, totaling 30 machines — one of the largest transactions in recent years! This incredible win reflects the strong customer relationships John continues to build and the hard work of many across our organization.
A huge shoutout to the Service Department for their outstanding teamwork and quick turnaround in getting every machine prepped and ready to roll. Special thanks to Scott Story for coordinating the effort across departments and ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
This milestone helped make September 2025 our third-highest revenue month on record, dating back to 2017 — trailing just behind February 2019 ($7.525MM) and December 2024 ($7.495MM). Way to go, team!

HCA Management Conference
| This past month, our Houston Heavy Machinery, Texas Dewatering, and EIK Solutions teams traveled to Bluffton, South Carolina for the 2025 Houston Contractor’s Association Management Conference at the beautiful Montage Palmetto Bluff resort.
| | The annual event brought together contractors, suppliers, and leaders from across Houston for several days of networking, education, and collaboration. Our team was able to connect with other Houston-area businesses, share ideas, and build stronger relationships with fellow HCA members — connections that will continue to support our growth and success throughout the year.
| The conference provided a chance for our team to build deeper partnerships with other businesses while representing HHM, TXD, and EIK on a national stage. These connections are essential as we continue to expand our footprint, stay ahead of industry trends, and bring innovative solutions back to our customers and partners here in Houston.
| |
We’re proud of the way our team represented our companies and grateful for the opportunity to participate in an event that brings Houston’s construction community closer together. The insights, connections, and memories made will continue to inspire us as we grow together in the years ahead.

EIK Solutions Ventures to Death Valley: Delivering Innovation to Owens Lake
We are excited to share that EIK Solutions recently delivered two CAT323 Amphibious Excavators to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. These versatile machines were delivered to Owens Lake, a site steeped in history and environmental significance.
| | Owens Lake History
Once a vast and vibrant body of water, Owens Lake has faced significant ecological challenges over the past 100 years. In the early 20th century, diverting the Owens River for Los Angeles’s water needs dramatically reduced the lake’s size, turning it into a dry, dust-laden basin. Today, efforts are underway to mitigate dust and restore parts of the environment, with innovative solutions like our amphibious excavators playing a crucial role.
Supporting the City’s Future Resilience
These specialized excavators will empower Los Angeles to better manage future flooding—an increasingly urgent concern as the city has experienced record-breaking rainfall over the past two years. By enhancing flood control capabilities, the city is taking proactive steps to protect its residents and infrastructure against unpredictable weather patterns.
No Distance Too Far
At EIK Solutions, no job is too remote or challenging. Even in a dust bowl of a ghost town with a population of just 21 people, when duty calls, we show up—delivering reliable, state-of-the-art equipment wherever it’s needed.
We are proud to support innovative projects that make a difference, from the bustling city streets to the quiet, arid expanses of Owens Lake. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey and the impactful work ahead!

 | We’re excited to announce that Texas Dewatering was the low bidder on the Lago Mar East Regional Lift Station project!
Kurt Roedel did an outstanding job leading this bid and has built a strong network of subcontractors that continue to keep us competitive in this space. His efforts and leadership have been instrumental in helping us win — congratulations to Kurt and the entire TXD team on this achievement!
